Accidental Death of an Anarchist

The Latymer Theatre Company’s troupe of young professional actors head to the OSO as they take on one of the most popular farces of the twentieth century, Dario Fo’s hilarious ‘Accidental Death of an Anarchist’.


Written in 1970 in response to the death in custody of an Italian anarchist, Fo’s version of the attempts by the police to cover up the death of Giuseppe Pinelli exposes the corruption at the heart of Italian politics at the time.
Will Jarvis played the despicable Bertozzo, a humourless police officer constantly at the butt of everyone's jokes.
